FIRST, A FEMALE
Hi.
My name is Gaby Viteri, a West Palm Beach local and founder of FIRST FEMALE and WOMEN’S ART WEEK. I’m an independent curator, artist, and I'm dedicated to uplifting women through community-building and immersive art experiences.
In March 2022, after noticing a clear gender gap in the art world, I curated Palm Beach County’s first all-female art show. I called it FIRST FEMALE because it was both bold and ironic that something like this could still be a “first” for women.
The success of that first show and the vibrant community that formed around it made me realize how few spaces, resources, and opportunities existed for female creatives. In response, I organized art-centered gatherings and curating exhibitions under the FIRST FEMALE name.
This momentum ultimately inspired me to create WOMEN'S ART WEEK, a week-long celebration dedicated to uplifting and showcasing female artists.
WHAT WE DO
We provide a platform that offers unique opportunities for female artists and their creative friends to: connect with intention, share their stories, and expand their careers.

By creating opportunities such as monthly meetups that foster connection
