WHAT IS WAW?

Women in the Arts Week (WAW) is a week-long celebration led by FIRST FEMALE, showcasing local female creatives through open studios, art walks, and collaborative projects. This initiative invites the public into your creative space, fostering meaningful connections between artists and the community.

PARTICIPATION DETAILS

Eligibility: Open to female artists, 18 or older, with a Palm Beach County mailing address.

Fees:

Free for First Female members
$195 for non-members
$395 for organizations and galleries

Benefits:

Inclusion in the printed and digital event map
Opportunity to be featured in local publications

Activation Description

Describe your planned participation for WAW—whether it’s an open studio, art show, workshop, or another creative activation. This description will be used in our newsletter to promote your event. Example: “I’m hosting an open studio where visitors can view my projects and join a live painting demonstration.”

Hours of Availability

Artists are required to open their studios to the public during the following hours: March 8 (Opening Day): 11 AM – 6 PM March 9: 11AM - 4 PM For weekdays (March 8–14), please propose your studio hours and days of availability:
